After having their egos bruised a bit on on Tuesday night, the Pella High girls soccer team dealt out a beatdown of their own Thursday night, ripping Fairfield 10-0 and enacting the mercy rule with 22 minutes remaining in the second half. Bri Schroder started the scoring party just :38 seconds in, and Gabi Meirick earned a hat trick, with her third goal putting the Lady Dutch at the ten-point threshold. Fairfield got just one shot on goal. The Pella High girls soccer team is now 1-1 overall on the season.
