Pella Police Report Week Of September 11th

During the week of September 11, 2011 to September 17, 2011 the Pella Police Department
received 127 calls for service, issued 31 citations, issued 38 warning citations, issued 45 parking
tickets and arrested 8 people resulting in 9 charges.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS

During the week of September 11, 2011 to September 17, 2011 the communications center
fielded 216 telephone calls, assisted 49 people at the window, and fielded 40 incoming calls on
the 911 system.

ARRESTS

On 09-12-11 Wayne L. Ellsworth, 37, of Keokuk was charged with domestic abuse
assault. Wayne was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-15-11 Thomas T. Butler, 20, of Pella was charged with possession of marijuana.
Thomas was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-15-11 Jeffrey M. Vanderplaats, 20, of Apple Valley, CA was charged with
possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Jeffrey was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-15-11 Nicholas C. Crawford, 21, of Indianola was charged with possession of
marijuana. Nicholas was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-15-11 Meghan C, Purcell, 21, of Apple Valley, MN was charged with possession
of marijuana. Meghan was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-15-11 Samantha J. Bloodsworth, 27, of Pella was charged with driving while
revoked. Samantha was pre-trial released with a court date.
On 09-15-11 Dustin L. Vos, 28, of Pella was charged with assault with a dangerous
weapon. Dustin was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-17-11 Robyn L. Vanderhyde, 21, of Pella was charged with driving while
suspended. Robyn was cited and released with a court date.

received 152 calls for service, issued 22 citations, issued 35 warning citations, issued 56 parking
tickets and arrested 6 people resulting in 6 charges.

fielded 246 telephone calls, assisted 41 people at the window, and fielded 34 incoming calls on
the 911 system.

ARRESTS

On 09-04-11 April M. Ozinga, 28, of Pella was charged with operating while intoxicated
second offense. April was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-06-11 Brian J. Hines, 32, of Montezuma was charged with driving while barred.
Brian was pre-trial released with a court date.
On 09-07-11 Robert J. Visser, 34, of Knoxville was charged with driving while barred.
Robert was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-08-11 Austin E. Rominger, 18, of Knoxville was charged with theft 5th. Austin
was released with a court date.
On 09-08-11 Adam J. Hegwood, 25, of Knoxville was charged with theft 5th. Adam was
released with a court date.
On 09-08-11 Christina E. Rice, 18, of Knoxville was charged with theft 5th. Christina
was released with a court date.

During the week of August 28, 2011, to September 3, 2011, the Pella Police Department
received 126 calls for service, issued 17 citations, issued 25 warning citations, issued 27 parking
tickets and arrested 7 people resulting in 9 charges.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
During the week of August 28, 2011, to September 3, 2011, the communications center fielded
274 telephone calls, assisted 48 people at the window, and fielded 36 incoming calls on the 911
system.

ARRESTS
On 08-28-11 Joshua J. Wenndt, 20, of Johnston was charged with operating while
intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia. Joshua was incarcerated for the night.
On 08-28-11 Timothy M. Maggard, 19 of Torrance, CA was charged with possession of
alcohol under the legal age. Timothy was cited and released with a court date.
On 08-28-11 Tracey J. Murray, 45, of Pella was charged public intoxication and
interference. Tracey was incarcerated for the night.
On 08-30-11 Agape J. A. Ball, 30, of Pella was charged with domestic abuse assault with
injury. Agape was incarcerated for the night.
On 09-01-11 Johnny M. Hardaway, 35, of Oskaloosa was charged with driving while
suspended. Johnny was cited and released with a court date.
On 09-02-11 a juvenile of Pella was charged with assault with injury. The juvenile was
cited and released to his parents.
On 09-03-11 Stephanie J. Brammer, 22, of Rosemount, MN was charged with public
intoxication. Stephanie was incarcerated for the night.

During the week of July 31, 2011, to August 6, 2011, the Pella Police Department received 144
calls for service, issued 29 citations, issued 35 warning citations, issued 19 parking tickets and
arrested five people resulting in five charges.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS

During the week of July 31, 2011, to August 6, 2011, the communications center fielded 347
telephone calls, assisted 54 people at the window, and fielded 41 incoming calls on the 911
system.

ARRESTs

On 07-31-11 Rebecca A. Van Donselaar, 34, of Pella was charged with two counts of
child endangerment. Rebecca was incarcerated for the night.
On 08-01-11 Kayla J. Post, 24, of Pella was charged with domestic abuse. Kayla was
incarcerated for the night.
On 08-02-11 Herbert Bolden, 24, of Pella was charged with possession of marijuana.
Herbert was pre-trial released with a court date set for his appearance.
On 08-02-11 a juvenile of Pella was charged with possession of marijuana. He was cited
and released to a guardian.
On 08-05-11 Lyle A. Riggs, Sr., 40, of Harvey was charged with neglect of a dependent
person. Lyle was incarcerated for the night.
