Pleasantville Hitting Should Improve Next Season

The Pleasantville Baseball Squad had several positives this season. Contended in the Pride of Iowa Conference…and a strong pitching staff. One thing that the Trojans struggled with this season was hitting when runner were in scoring position. Coach Sheldon Card says while the hitting was not bad…the times they really needed the bats to come through was when runner were in scoring position. Pleasantville hit 254 as a team lead by Colton Furnal who had a batting average of 365 and 31 hits. Pleasantville finished 12-and-14 on the season.
