Knoxville Mayor Don Zoutte has selected a six person Naming Committee to help decide what to call the new Pocket Park.  The following have agreed to be part of the committee: Pennie Sommar from the Historic Preservation Committee, Brandon Hoch from the Planning and Zoning Commission, Library Board member Mary Lane, community members Mike Spolar and Joe Fergusen and student and community member Jerika Thomas.  With the help of Zoutte and City Manager Dick Schrad as the support staff the committee will meet on Wednesday at 4pm in the Iowa State Savings Bank Board Room to discuss the petition submitted by Harv Sprafka to name the park Brooks Garden.
