Red Rock Retro Radio Theatre (RRRRT) will present its tenth winter show in Knoxville and Pella Friday and Saturday.

The show’s title is “A Day in the Life.” Cast member Jinni Dingle tells KNIA/KRLS News one of the things that makes the show special is the scenes depict what could happen to normal, everyday Iowans.The performance is presented in the style of old-time radio theater from the 1940’s and 50’s. It features original and historic music, along with humorous and touching stories about everyday friends and neighbors. The entire production has been written by Marion County residents. KNIA/KRLS will air a one-hour recorded broadcast, Sunday, March 6 from 4 – 5 PM on KNIA only.

RRRRT will perform in Knoxville at 7:30 pm on Friday, February 26 at the Living Word Fellowship Church. RRRRT’s Pella performance will begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday, February 27 at the Joan Kuiper Farver Auditorium in the Pella Community Center. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance at the HyVee Store in Pella or at Main Street Market in Knoxville. They may also be purchased at the door. KNIA/KRLS will air a one hour recorded broadcast, Sunday March 6 from 4 – 5:00 PM on KNIA only.
