Knoxville Hospital and Clinics is holding a two day national baby sitting training program this week. The Safe Sitter program is a hands-on course that will be taught by a certified instructor from the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics and touch on basic child care skills and how to handle emergencies when watching young children. Following the instruction, students will be tested on both practical and written tests to show they have mastered the key concepts. The course will take place Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 4pm in the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Garden Room. The cost is $25 and registration can be completed by calling Heather Cook at 842-1517.
