School board elections will take place tomorrow.

Registered voters in Knoxville and Pleasantville will have from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. to cast their votes while Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars voters will have from noon until 8 p.m. Knoxville voters will be able to cast their vote at the Knoxville School’s Administration Building and will be voting on school board positions as well as Proposition A which would create eight new tennis courts and an outdoor basketball court if approved.

Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News two, two year terms will be voted on with Vickie Reed and Andrew Schmidt running for those positions and two four year terms will be voted on with Dawn Rankin, Darbie Utterback, Martin Duffy, Cheri Gerdes and Larry Scott running for those positions.

Residents of Pleasantville will vote at the Memorial Building located at 101 north Jefferson Street. Twin Cedars voters can cast their ballot at the Twin Cedars School and Melcher-Dallas voters can make their choices at the Melcher-Dallas Community Center. Any non-registered voter who wishes to cast their vote during the school board election can go to the Marion County Courthouse and fill out an Election Day Registration and vote at the window in the courthouse.
