Rozenboom-KenScale

Floor debate will begin to ramp up this week in the Iowa Senate after the first funnel.

State Senator Ken Rozenboom says some of his committee work has been slow, but one of his projects has survived the first deadline, and others will have to be considered in later sessions.

Rozenboom says the natural resources committee has passed a bill that he hopes would eventually amend the Iowa Constitution to ensure a citizen’s right to hunt or fish in the state. He says a piece of legislation he wrote to ban the transfer of fetal tissue in Iowa did not make the cut.
