There’s been a delay in the sentencing of a Knoxville man who pled guilty to assaulting two officers and threatening to stab a woman with a fork in February.

50-year-old Jeffery Allen Morrow entered a plea to reduced charges of assaulting an officer, domestic abuse assault with a weapon, and 1st degree harassment.
According to court documents, Morrow’s sentencing has been delayed so he can continue mental health treatment.
On February 16th, police responded to a call at a Fourth Street home about a man who threatened to stab a female subject in the face with a fork. As police attempted to place Morrow under arrest, he resisted, kicking two officers. The argument reportedly was due to the victim saying she would turn off the internet to their home so Morrow could no longer play online video games.
His new sentencing date is July 24th.
