The Twin Cedars’ boys’ basketball team was, according to Coach Alan Stewart, outmatched and outplayed on Tuesday night, as Sigourney ousted them from the Class 1A district semifinal, 86 – 34. Eric Clark led the Sabers with ten points and Derek Springer had seven points. The Sabers’ boys finish the season with a 14 – 9 record, which ties a school record for most wins in a season. Twin Cedars will lose only two seniors off their squad come graduation: both Clark and Max Wautrin.
