A storm sewer failure has occurred in the 2500 block of West Larson in Knoxville.
The Knoxville Street Department tells KNIA/KRLS News that an approximately 10 feet deep hole has opened at the north curb that extends an unknown depth under the street. The street has now been closed to thru traffic as a safety precaution, but one lane is open so area residents to get to their homes. The street will likely close completely this afternoon for repair work to begin.
