Street work that began early Friday morning has closed part of an intersection in downtown Pella. A portion of Franklin Street, just off of Main Street, is closed to traffic while repairs are being completed on the street’s surface. Access from Franklin Street will be allowed up to the work site – similar to a cul de sac – and Main Street will not be affected.

Provided there are no complications, the street should be re-opened by the end of the day Saturday. Those with questions may contact the Pella Public Works Department at 628-1601.
