Indianola/Knoxville Girls Swimmers Win Des Moines Lincoln Invite

Even without a single diving point…Indianola/Knoxville captured the Des Moines Lincoln Railsplitter Girls Swimming Invitational yesterday by 16points over Lincoln.  The Knoxville contingent played a major role in the victory with Christina Ambergy was apart o the 400 freestyle relay that won gold…she also claimed silver in the 100 freestyle.  Chelsea Vander Linden took second in the 100 breastroke.

Knoxville Swimmers Help Indianola Into Power Ratings

The Knoxville portion of the Indianola’s Girls Swim program has had a good start to the season, and it is showing up in the season’s first power ratings released by the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union.

Attendance Down This Summer at Pella Aquatic Center

The summer swimming season started off strong this year at the Pella Aquatic Center, but cool temperatures in July and part of August hurt attendance and sales for the summer overall.

Knoxville Girls Swimmers Big Addition to Indianola

Indianola/Knoxville Girls Swimming had a good night Tuesday night with a victory over Des Moines Lincoln. The five girls from Knoxville all earned at least one medal on the night.
