An Ottumwa man who escaped from the Wapello County jail in June of 2010 was arrested in Knoxville early this morning. According to Police Chief Dan Losada the Knoxville Police Department received a tip that 25 year old Travis Lee Musgrove was staying at a home in Knoxville. Officers went to the residence, located Musgrove and placed him under arrest for an outstanding Wapello County warrant. Musgrove was placed on escape status last June after he failed to return to the Ottumwa Work Release facility. He was just over three years into his 10 year sentence for three counts of child endangerment with serious injury.

Musgrove is currently being held in the Marion County jail.
