It was a record setting day for Knoxville’s Wick Cunningham at the Drake Relays yesterday. Cunningham not only finished fifth in the 1600, but also broke one of the longest standing Knoxville school records as he set a new mark of 4:19.49 seconds. That mark was previously held by current Knoxville Athletic Director Randy Wilson, who was on hand at Drake Stadium yesterday to witness his record being broken. Coach Mike Cunningham the Second said Wick ran one of the best races he has ever run. The Panthers now turn their attention to the Little Hawkeye Conference meet tomorrow at Oskaloosa.
