Central College’s fall Writer’s Reading Series begins Thursday night. The featured speaker is Harriet Washington, author of Medical Aparthied: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present. Washington has been a fellow at the Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health. Washington will speak at 7:30 at the Cox-Snow Recital Hall. Writer’s Reading is free and open to the public.
