The 2020 college spring sports seasons have been cancelled, but in a major announcement, the NCAA is going to grant another year of eligibility to all spring sports athletes. For Pleasantville alumnus Zeb Adreon, it’s an opportunity to resume what had been a pretty successful senior season. While Adreon hasn’t completely decided, he is leaning towards returning for another season in 2021.

“I would personally like to come back. I know there’s a lot of things that the NCAA and the schools have to figure out between scholarships, roster spots, funding money and things like that. But I know for me, and a few other guys I talked to that were also seniors, as long as everything works out right, I definitely want to come back for one more year.”

Adreon started all 15 games, hit .333 this season, and was ninth in the Big Ten in on-base percentage. Iowa finished the season 10-5.
