Jacob Zuck became the first Knoxville Panther to account for six touchdowns in one game since 2005 as he led Knoxville to a 49-14 romp over Fairfield last night. Zuck started things off with a 74 yard run for six to put Knoxville up seven/nothing. The Panthers blew the game apart in the second quarter as Zuck accounted for three of the four Panther scores on a one yard run of his own, a 61 yard pass to Rylan Cox, and a 29 yarder to Mike Hudson, the son of Panthers assistant Coach Chris Hudson, and by halftime Knoxville was ahead 35-7. Two more scores in the third quarter completed Knoxville’s scoring. Coach Eric Kellar told KNIA/KRLS Sports he was pumped a the results. Zuck finished with 288 total yards, 136 on the ground on eight carries and three touchdowns, and was 6/10 for 152 yards and three touchdowns in the air. Darius Pipkins, who also scored a touchdown had 76 yards on eight carries. The Panther offense rolled up 406 total yards while holding Fairfield to 240. Knoxville is 2-0 for the first time since 2015 and will start district play at Norwalk next Friday.
