On Friday GM announced it would be closing a number of Iowa dealerships, but Tom DeVore of DeVore Motors in Knoxville says no news is good news as his dealership was not among those slated to close.   DeVore says they continue to remain open during an internal restructuring process, and they plan on bringing back most of their staff later this week, and the NAPA parts store is also remaining open. Craig Ford, owner of Pella Motors, told KNIA/KRLS News last week that his dealership would also continue to sell GM vehicles, and both DeVore Motors and Pella Motors will also continue to sell Chrysler vehicles as well, when that company announced it would also be closing 22 dealerships statewide.
