Forty-years ago Iowa‘s largest body of water was born. A celebration in honor of Lake Red Rock’s 40th anniversary is planned for June 12 and 13 at Cordova Park. Marion County Development Commission Executive Director Carla Eyesink says volunteers are still needed for setup and teardown and for helping with the 5K event.
