The Pella Farmers Market is expanding. Vivian Rippentrop with the Pella Farmers Market Club says because of demand theyre adding a Saturday market from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in addition to the normal Thursday market from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the parking lot of First Reformed Church. She describes the Saturday market as an experiment theyll try for a couple of months. Rippentrop says theyve averaged about 14 vendors so far this growing season.
