A celebration is planned for this weekend at Cordova Park to mark Lake Red Rock’s 40th anniversary. Marion County Development Commission Executive Director Carla Eyesink says they’ve recently added to the entertainment schedule with performances by Jon McClemore of Knoxville with guest Marcus Peterson and Pella saxophonist Alex Maasdam. Eyesink notes that it’s not too late to register for the 5K race or the tower race but late registrants aren’t guaranteed a t-shirt. For more information, visit lakeredrock.org.
