Marion County producers and emergency responders are encouraged to attend biosecurity workshops offered this and next month, to learn how to respond to potential animal diseases.  That's according to Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson.  He says workshops are being held by the Region 5 Homeland Security Board and state farm, pork and beef organizations July 1st in Chariton and July 6th in Oskaloosa from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  There is no charge to attend the events.
