Iowa Workforce Development has noticed more people using
the local Pella office since it returned to a five-day
week May 18. There are some signs of improvement in the
local economy as Workforce Advisor Joy Hol says she's
noticed more job openings recently. The local workforce
development office in Pella offers a resource room with
four computers available for public use. Hol notes that
many companies are now requiring online applications.
