About 50 incoming freshmen students are registered for a
new engineering program at the Pella Community High
School. Director of Instruction Lowell Ernst says this
will be the first year Pella offers Project Lead the Way,
a national program meant to increase in science and
engineering fields. Ernst says they've received financial
support and assistance from Pella Corporation and 3M in
getting the program started.
