A house was on the move Thursday morning in Pella. According to Building Official Jerry Byers, a house owned by Central College at 1103 Peace Street was relocated to 218th Avenue. The Pella Police Department directed traffic along Idaho Drive to accommodate the move, which required a stop near the Highway 163 overpass because of transmission lines. Dan Houser with the Pella Electric Department says a line had to be taken out of service to maintain clearance.
