Almost $800 has been raised so far from a Knoxville elementary school student’s lemonade stand to help fight children’s cancer. Tierney Heffron and her mother Genni raised $675 last week at the Knoxville Hy-Vee, and also received individual donations, which put them well beyond their $500 goal. Genni (JEN-ee) encourages the community to stop by the lemonade stand June 27th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Knoxville Raceway during the races.
