Recent heavy rains have swelled local creeks and rivers. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the South Skunk River near Oskaloosa until Monday morning. According to the National Weather Service, the South Skunk is currently three feet above flood stage. The Iowa Department of Transportation reports that Highway 92 has been reduced to one lane of traffic approximately 10 miles west of Oskaloosa due to flooding.
