The 2009 Coal Miner’s Day celebration is June 27th in Melcher-Dallas, and a parade, food, games, a helicopter landing and a raffle are just some of the events planned. Laurie Goff is EMS coordinator for the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department. She says the event—which begins at 11 a.m. on Main Street in Melcher-Dallas with the parade.
