A Pella resident and former city councilman is in Minnesota today to run a marathon. Fred Kreykes is running in the 33rd annual Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth. This is the second time he’s competed in the race. The last time he did well enough to qualify for the Boston Marathon, which he ran in 2007.
