Around 30 to 40 Knoxville youth from area churches, the
Knoxville middle school baseball team, and Knoxville
Boxing Club were painting and refurbishing structures in
Auld Park Saturday. Drew Raleigh, youth pastor with
Living Word Fellowship says the event helps the youth take
responsibility for keeping community areas in good
condition. Spahn & Rose Lumber Company in Knoxville
provided a 10% discount on building supplies and the
baseball team members' parents provided lunch and
refreshments to the volunteers while they worked.
