The 2009 Marion County Fair kicks-off Friday, and all the animals will be moved on the fairgrounds beginning Friday. That’s according to Brian Stickle, marketing director of the Knoxville Raceway. He says the rides and attractions will begin at 3 p.m. that day, with the Pinewood Derby at 7 p.m. at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. The Fair runs through July 22nd, and the KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live and conducting interviews everyday during the fair.
