The community of Monroe holds their annual “Old Settlers” event next month. The 113th running of the program includes a Grand parade and children’s parade, a car show, several contests and rides, and a performance by the rock ‘n roll group “Danny & the Juniors.” Monroe’s annual “Old Settlers Celebration” is August 7th and 8th.
