Even though practices have not officially started, it is that time of year when high school football coaches start gathering their players together and get a peek at what they have to offer in 2009. Most teams around the state are holding team camps this week including Pella Christian. The Eagles camp started last night and runs through Thursday from six-to-eight-30 each night. Team practices officially start next week and Pella Christian will hold two-a-day practices for sophomores through seniors from 8-10:30 and 5:30-9 daily while the freshman will practice from 4-8 each day. The season opens August 28th when Pella Christian travels to New London.
