The trailers, cars and golf carts are pouring into Knoxville, as both residents and 20,000 expected visitors rev up for the 49th Annual Superclean Knoxville Nationals next week. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada reminds both pedestrians and drivers to have patience on the roads and in area businesses.

Losada also says golf carts cannot be driven on state highways, which includes highway 14 and highway 92, and can only be driven from sunrise to sunset and must have a slow-moving vehicle sign on it. Losada reminds residents and visitors to never drink and drive, and that it’s illegal to have an open container of alcohol on public property.
