Despite losing two all conference players from last year Pella High Volleyball should be strong and contend for a Little Hawkeye Conference title this season. Coach Bob Fessler says they still return a lot of experience this season. Pella earned a trip to the Class 3A State Tournament for the third straight season last year and Fessler says this year they hope to make it back and be more competitive. He notes its way too early to label Pella as a favorite to win the L-H-C but says they do expect to be in contention at the end of the season. Practices officially started today.
