Two sisters from Pella will compete in the Cowgirl Queen Contest at the Iowa State Fair. Rachel and Renee Van Roekel will be competing in the Junior and Senior Royalty classes, respectively. The Van Roekels are representing the Jasper County Pony Express and will be present at the Pony Express booth located in the “Avenue of Breeds” across from Stockman’s Inn
