An 11 and 12-year old from just outside Dallas, Texas are in Knoxville this week to watch the 49th Annual Super Clean Knoxville Nationals, and to catch pancakes. Dillon Laird and Ricky Weever tell KNIA/KRLS News they’ve spent hours practicing to catch pancakes since last year’s Knoxville Methodist Church and Chamber of Commerce Annual Pit-Stop Pancake Breakfast at the National Guard Armory. Both boys say they trained exclusively for this event, and can be seen Saturday morning at the armory catching pancakes from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
