A Burlington man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after his motorcycle struck the rear end of a car Thursday morning on Highway 163. The accident happened south of Pella near mile marker 40, when a car operated by Cora DeCook of Pella performed a U-turn through the median and entered the westbound lane in front of Charles Steffenmeier. Steffenmeier was transported by ambulance to Pella Regional Health Center. Pella Police charged DeCook with failure to yield.
