Repairs on East Pleasant Street in Knoxville between Seventh Street and Godfrey Lane are set to start Monday. That’s according to Knoxville Public Works Director Jeff May. He tells KNIA/KRLS News the repairs are expected to take approximately two weeks. During that time, East Pleasant Street will be reduced to one-lane in the area of the repairs. May says drivers should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to find an alternate route as crews work.
