A Registered Nurse at Pella Regional Health Center was recently selected by a group of her co-workers as the Shining Star of Pella Regional for the month of August. Kathy Pitts was nominated for the award in recognition of her demonstration of outstanding standards of behavior and inspiration to others to do their best. As a reward, Pitts will receive a $100 gift, a plaque and be included as a candidate for the hospital’s Shining Star of the Year Award.
