It was a rough beginning for the P-C-M volleyball team, as the Mustangs fell to some very tough competition last night at a tournament in Dallas-Center Grimes. Coach Mike Vittatoe’s team defeated Nodaway Valley 2 matches to 1, but lost 2-0 in matches against Class 4A 8th ranked Urbandale, Class 3A 15th ranked Dallas-Center Grimes, and Fort Dodge. Vittatoe says the Mustangs will continue to work on minimizing unforced errors. P-C-M will host Melcher-Dallas on September 1st for their home opener.
