The Pella cross country teams compete for the first time this season as both squads run at Southeast Polk today. Pella Coach Doug Cutler says having all of the athletes run together makes the meet an enjoyable start to the season. Cutler adds that the meet will be a good warm-up for this Friday’s home opener. The Dutch runners will face top competition from teams like Waukee, Indianola and Ankeny, as well as local rivals Knoxville and Pella Christian.
