Pella volleyball hits the floor to open their season tonight as they host a varsity quad welcoming in teams from Dallas Center Grimes, Bondurant and Gilbert. Coach Bob Fessler says it’s been a long summer and pre season and they are ready to get out on the floor and see what they can do tonight: Fessler says that as part of their pre season workouts they have scrimmaged a few teams and in doing that exposed a few areas of their game where there was weaknesses and they’ve been working hard to improve for the season: The quad tonight features two ranked teams in Class 3A as Pella is ranked 4th and Dallas Center Grimes is 15th. Action is set to start at 5:30pm tonight.
