Pella volleyball opened their season successfully going 3-0 at home yesterday beating Bondurant 2-1, Gilbert 2-0 and Dallas Center Grimes who’s ranked 15th in Class 3A 2-0. Haley Steenhoek tallied 25 kills and 3 blocks, Jordyn Vandelune also had 3 blocks, Brooke Fessler dished out 67 assists, Lindsey Bentzinger had 24 digs and Kelsi Rempe had 7 ace serves. Pella will travel to Iowa City High Saturday.
