It’s a big night for Pella Christian football tonight as they christen their new football stadium and play their first ever true home game , add in the opponent PCM and it’s sure to be an electric night. Last year in Monroe PCM won 35-7 which was the Eagles only regular season loss and Pella Christian hopes to return the favor this year. PCM Coach Dar Dahms says they’ve been working real hard all week to make sure the players don’t under estimate Pella Christian because of what happened last year. Pella Christian Coach Rich Kacmarynski says they’ve had a great week of practice and he feels they are more than ready to take on PCM. He says controlling the Mustangs speed is a big key to an Eagles victory tonight. Last week Eagles fans got a bit of a scare when quarterback Kyle Nikkel went down with an injury although he did return to finish the game and scored 2 late touchdowns to secure the win. Kacmarynski says Nikkel is fine and will start tonight. It’s also “white out” night tonight as Eagles fans are encouraged to wear white t-shirts and bring white towels to wave during the game. You can hear tonight’s game live on 92.1FM KRLS and kniakrls.com with Jamie Brockman and Larry Hessing starting with the pregame at 7pm and kickoff at 7:30pm.
