Lighting usually does not strike twice in the same place. But for Knoxville last night it struck on virtually the same play. Dylan Schrader bolted in from 76 yards out on the Panthers first play from scrimmage, then on their third place in the next series, Schrader streaked in from 47 yards out on nearly the same play and Knoxville was up by then 14/nothing and dominated Wayne the entire game winning 42/six. Knoxville also got scores from Adam Theil, Blake McWilliams, Tyler Worrall, and Bryant McWilliams. Defensively Knoxville only allowed The Falcons 89 yards on the ground, and 40 yards total offense in the second half. Defensive Coordinator Justin Mikels said with each defensive series the team gained more confidence. Schrader ran for 160 yards on just six carries, Tyler Worrall had 82 yards on 12 carries. Knoxville amassed 383 yards total offense in the romp. The Panthers are two-and-oh on the season and will travel to Chariton for the Class three-A District Six opener next Friday.
