Class three-A third ranked Pella volleyball took on some tough competition at the Iowa City High Invitational Saturday and stood its ground finishing second at four-and-one on the day. Pella swept Class one-A ninth ranked Grandview Park Baptist, Mount Pleasant, and Class four-A North Scott two/nothing and also upset Class four-A ninth ranked Pleasant Valley two/one before falling in the finals to Class four-A sixth ranked Iowa City High two/nothing. Pella is seven-and-one on the season and is off until Saturday when the Lady Dutch head to the Iowa City West Invitational.
