Despite being without some of their top runners the Pella Christian cross country teams had a good day at the Johnston Invitational yesterday. The girls were running without Mikaela Martin who was out with a minor injury but still managed a 7th place team finish in the smaller school division. Kim Van Zee led the way finishing 11th. The boys again were without their top runner Josh Meyer who is recovering from an illness but managed a 2nd place finish led by Skyler Giddings who finished 3rd, Devin Veenstra was 5th and Jacob Dahm finished 12th.
