Those who missed out on last weekend’s Monarch Butterfly tagging program at Lake Red Rock will have another chance to participate this weekend.

Park Ranger Tracy Spry will teach participants how to tag the unique butterflies as they migrate to Mexico as part of the Monarch Watch volunteer effort. Participants are encouraged to wear long pants and shoes, as they will likely be walking through tall grass. The free program will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in Fifield Park and is the last summer program of the year.
